Independence Day event ( 15th Aug 2019 )
This Independence Day, the flag hoisting ceremony, where Dr. Ahmed Khan hoisted the flag, filled all of us with a sense of pride and responsibility. On the same day, Femcity hosted an event where ‘Koala Love’ – a Medela Store (Medela- leading research-based company providing breastfeeding-related products & services) was launched in our premise which was inaugurated by Dr. Sarita Pingili. It was quite an overwhelming day for Femcity!
Walkathon Event ( 8th Sep 2019 )
A momentous initiative, “Walkathon- a NutriDiet walk”, was recently organized by Femcity, on the occasion of National Nutrition Week to raise awareness about the importance of proper nutrition. Flagged off by our honorable chief guests Mr. Andrew Fleming, the Deputy Commissioner of British High Commission, Hyderabad and Mrs. Rachel Chatterjee, IAS Chairperson of the India Red Cross Society, Andhra Pradesh Chapter; the event saw an astounding response where everyone was looking enthusiastic wearing walkathon t-shirts. Alongside the NutriDiet walk, a diet display was held by our Dieticians, later followed by a healthy nutritious breakfast. The main motive was to promote health and wellness among women of all ages.
Antenatal Class - ( 4th Jan 2020 )
On January 4, 2020, we at Femcity welcomed the New Year with lots of positive energy and enthusiasm by organizing our monthly antenatal class in association with LifeCell. As one of the most trusted names in Women & Children Healthcare industry, Femcity is setting the bar quite high by spreading awareness regarding the wellbeing of the mother and child. Our objective is to achieve wellness by propagating useful information through acclaimed experts like Chief Pediatrician Dr. Saritha Pingli, who explained the importance of breast milk and breastfeeding; Nutritionist Dr. Saadiyah, who gave insights on antenatal and post food habits for mother and child’s safety. Child Birth Educator Mrs. Shivani encouraged the participants for antenatal exercises.
Teacher’s Day event ( 5th Sep 2019 )
On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, a joyous celebration event was held by Femcity Hospital at Maulana Azad Urdu University in Hyderabad, in the presence of all the teachers and staff members. Dr. Syeda Iram Fathima, our expert Consultant Gynecologist, spread the word of woman health among the staff and a demo of Pilates was also given by Mrs. Farzana Baig, Stott Pilates Instructor. Our Clinical Director & Consultant Pediatrician, Dr. Sarita, helped the staff to explore the world of Happy Mother, Happy Child!
